I’m Maiya or Sumaiya Zafar if we’re being formal. I’m a designer who creates simply
because I love the process, not the labels.
I’ve always followed what feels right from painting to UI, branding to fashion. I’m
drawn to anything that sparks curiosity. I don’t like fitting into one box; I just want to
keep learning, growing, and creating visuals that feel honest and make people feel
something.
I’ve always been drawn to creating not because I planned to, but because it’s the one thing that’s always felt natural to me. Art and design have been my way of understanding the world and expressing what words can’t. I’ve never wanted to limit myself to one path or label. Whether it’s painting, UI design, or branding, I’m always curious about how visuals can make people feel something calm, inspired, or even just seen. That feeling is what keeps me creating.
For me, design isn’t about perfection or trends. It’s about growth learning something new every time,
finding meaning in small details, and making something that feels honest. I just want to keep exploring, evolving, and building things that reflect who I am becoming along the way.
